“I got asked to remix Luther Vandross ‘Never Too Much’ in 1989... I was in the studio and I didn’t know that Luther was working right next door doing the first Whitney Houston album... and he heard what we were doing with the remix and he was like ‘Man this sounds incredible can I come sing on it?’ So he came in next door and set up his mic and he just did the whole intro, ad libs, ending... so I got to work with Luther Vandross which was pretty exciting...”
