Michael and i got together nearly a year ago at the Kompakt store in Cologne to go record-digging and talk about the beginnings of creating this legendary label. We learned that staying true to their dna has been paramount to kompakt’s success and longevity, but we also covered our shared passion on sound and lighting and of course Michael’s song selections plus the full “total” compilation series in his playlist.
